Unidentified wader
    
     This small wader was photographed by Per Inge Værnesbranden at the
     lake Snåsavatnet, Co. Nord-Trøndelag, Central Norway, on 03 Sept.
     1999. Photo was taken through a telescope. The bird is suspected to be
     one of the American species. Assistance is requested to identify the
     bird. Please respond to Halvor Sørhuus 
     
     The other species in the images are Ringed Plover Charadrius hiaticula
     and Temminck´s Stint Calidris temminckii, all juveniles.

This picture shows a long, curved bill and long leggs.
